We recently had a scheduled power outage in our area. It zapped our 42in Toshiba. It did not affect my plasma or other lcd. The set just flashes three times pauses and flashes the same over and over. Tried to reset, also held down the power button and no luck.I believe something internal was fried. any educated ideas? |

IC Q880 #23135089 is the most common problem a $3 try or #75003371 about $150 for the whole power supply. |

Replace and go. No tuning required. This is the easy fix. If it doesn't work post back it may effected the 2 other regulators. I'm working on a fix for that as we speak. The power supply are back ordered that's why I'm working on a solid one fixes all. Try Q880 first. |

I replaced IC Q880 #23135089 and the TV works! The part should be a STR-W6765, but I was sent a STR-W6756. I thought that I may have been sent the wrong part, but after searching for the STR-W6700 Series data sheet it's pinned out the same with some lower specs. I tried it. It works.
Total cost with shipping under $12 US. |

Is located inside the TV. Use your eyes. _________________ You're over there, I'm over here. |
