Sharp vc-m11 cannot play tape.

what could be he problem to this fault?
whenever i inserted a tape and press the play button,the head will spin for a while then stop and it will eject the tape out.
Same wise for recording.
every thing is fine except cant play and record.

What could be the problem that cause this.

Anybody out in this forum know.
