Toshiba color tv model tz43v61

The tv screen goes black. It does it all the time. Somethimes it comes back on after being off for a while. Or it will work after leaving it off for a day. This time it went black after a few minutes of being on and we didn't have it on for long the day before. It hasn't worked very well in the last couple of days. When it is turned on, it takes a long time before there is any color. The screen is blue and there is an impression of the DVD VIDEO in the middle. I don't know what could be wrong with it. Can someone help me???
