Hitachi 50UX53K PTV, intermittent crosshatch

Hi,

This set is blinking between normal picture and a crosshatch pattern. Deflection/Power board was sent in for repairs twice. Set returned within two months with same problem each time.

Pressing and holding the Service Switch gives normal picture.

Anyone seen these symptoms?
