My friend bought a used Denon DVD 9000 in the UK and it came with a UK 220V mains lead which blew the 630ma glass fuse on the primary side of power transformer. Replacing the fuse and powering up with 110v and a 45w step down autotransformer makes the fuse blow again.
I suspect the transformer is blown : although primary winding shows 8ohms resistance on DMM. There is no short between primary:secondary or windings:chassis.
I desperately need a service manual for DVD9000 or DVDA1 (european equivalent)

| DVD9000... Sure do remember the beast. Very nice & expensive unit. I use to work on them ..do have the manual some where in my files. |

What is the max attachment size you can get for your email?
the manual is around 16 MEG. |

I've got a problem with digital filtering and HDCD decoding.
In effect channels it's clear - pair DF1704 before PCM1704, but main channel?
Denon's DXF7001? Or sth in DVD chain?

Hi.
My own unit is acting up (trouble with the source switch) and I've narrowed it down to a couple bad diodes but need the service manual to find suitable replacements.
I'd really appreciate it if you could help out.
