I got a brand new ATX power supply.
Main fuse is good but no power on secondary side.

The thing has aprox 150 v to the primary windings on the switching transformer.

Secondary side is DEAD.I have check all the E-Caps, ceramic caps, start up resistors, Diodes, etc. I have tested all winding on transformer , choke, etc with my Blue Ring tester. All seems good.

There is an Optoisolator(Driver IC 8 Legs) on the primary side, it is getting voltage but i am not sure how to check it or what voltage on what pin should be.

Has any one here worked on this model of switch mode power supply ?
Does anyone have any case history's on this model.
Thanks for any help in advance.

Do not have the specific diagram but most often , there is a line on the secondary side that needs to see the ground before you'll have full operation but there should be an "always 5v or 3v" present.

Are there any markings on the board by the plug/connector as to what it supposed to be? (ie 5v 12v etc)

The only v mark i can find on the board is were a purple wire is ,
it says +5vSB on the secondary side, and there is no volts at all on the secondary side.

You mentioned " Brand New"? Can't you at least exchange it? Certainly ought to have some sort of warranty?
Have not read the whole thing but see if this page may give you some ideas?
