Hi, ive had this tv for quite some years now and it had started playing up, then got put to one side out of the way, and just wanted to have a go and try and fix it if possible. The problem is that when i switch the unit on i get these strong green horizontal lines (like the scan and flyback) that gets worse and worse after minutes of the unit being on resulting into no picture but almost white screen with these lines on, it only did this now and again at the start but now is a constant issue. just made me wonder if this could be a possible dry joint anywhere or even a worn out component? could anyone help me? many thanks

try checking filter caps and resistor that filters and limits supplies voltages to your pics tube.
