Hitachi 50ux52b

I picked a hitachi 50ux52b up from a neighbor he was getting rid of it, and i needed a TV. it worked great for about 6 months. Now when i hit the power button the set will turn on the red led on the front of the set powers on but thats about it. I took the panel of and looked to see if anything had blown but not knowing what i was looking for i went on the internet. Everything everyone said is the E994 and C707 but mine are intact from looking at them. the other solution i have found online is the convergence ic's but im not sure what or where they are. anyhelp would be great.

O and when i turn on the set all 8 GREEN leds light up on the board and the Protect RED led stays lit constantly. also every so often when i turn the set on the green and blue lamps will flash but not bright enough to see if the back cover was on jsut if you are looking at them they power up then back down really fast.
