I purchased the service manual and I am trying to remove the main circuit board from the chassis to check for cold solders to repair a warm up vertical height problem. All of the capacitors appear to be OK.
I have released all of the hold down tabs and one screw from the VCR cover which might have held the board to the chassis but it still hangs onto the chassis. Is there something that I am missing? Any help would be appreciated.

Disassembly procedure (chart) should be included with service manual. VCR cover, VCR then board if memory serves.
Let's hope that by "All of the capacitors appear to be OK." that you've swapped them for known-good ones. They don't always puff. _________________ You're over there, I'm over here. |
