|
|
I have a Mitsubishi diamond pro 920 and when i first turn it on it will stay on for 5 mins then turn off. i have to then depress and press button again and it will power up again, sometimes a few minutes and sometimes a few seconds! After about 30mins of doing this constantly it will stay on for maybe a few hours. Can anyone please give me a clue what the problem might be and how i can fix it....if possible. Thanks Rich |

Hi Rich, I have exactly the same problem with my Diamond Pro 920!
Did you find any solutions to this? Mine is getting worse and worse too - it now only stays on for 2/3 mins if I'm lucky!
It's definitely the monitor too as I have tried different leads and also connected it to my flatmates PC and seen the same problem :S |

Problems such as these are normally caused buy poor solder joints and may be worth checking for this.
The location will depend on the monitor type. _________________ If in doubt pull the plug out. |

I've just encountered this problem today too. It's getting a lot worse with time (happening about a month now) to the point where it turns off within 30secs and then takes lots and lots of turning off and on to get it stable.
Has anyone had any joy with this? Contact Mitsubishi or anything?
It's well out of warranty at this stage but something to do would be better than having to buy a new one. |
