Sanyo Dp 42848=sound/no picture,not the inverters.

I have a Sanyo Dp42848 lcd tv,powers on with great picture and sound.The picture stays on a few seconds then goes blank.Power and sound stay on,it does this on all inputs.I read online it could be the inverters.I bought new ones and it does the same thing.Could it be the backlights?

If you have 24 volts to the panel after the picture dissappears, it would be a bad panel.

Thanks minnie you saved me alot of time and trouble.Ill just throw this piece of junk in the dumpster!
