i recently purchased an adaptor. it runs 12v but i extended the lenth of the cable signifigcantly. im trying now to get the adaptor to run 13v. what resistors do i need to change out to increase the voltage output by 1v? |

Depending on the adaptor design(most of which are designed to run at a set output voltage), You can not increase it's output by adding/changing resistor.
Unless you had an adjustable regulator/adaptor capable of providing higher than 13V, adding resistance only reduces the output--not increase it |

is there any way to tweak it just 1v? i could take a picture of it front and back and post it. would that help? |

Like I mentioned, you can not generate extra voltge from a set source voltage in your case. |
