This set will not start-- after 5 yrs of long running hours and still has great sharp picture

I think is power supply fault as has been slow to start for 3 wks now

LED just flashes on and off @ 1/2 second intervals and slight click inside

Anyone been there? I can post pic of board if poss

dont know the exact model but description of fault is perfect for failed caps in the psu, examine psu for any bulged caps and replace, if non appear to be bulged just blanket change them all. they are cheap enough and after 5 years of heavy use it is probably going to solve your problems

Yup Cheers they all look good but cannot test--- A/S have name change and no site up yet ---and, there are 2 power drivers on big heat sinks they read different but not short or open so probably ok all diodes check out as well
