Looking for Circuit Diagram for Sony Cassette Deck TC-240ST

My old reliable Sony tape deck (TC240ST) has just died and I have a retired friend who is willing to fix for me. I'm looking for a circuit diagram for this machine to make his job easier. I can't find a diagram using Google and have emailed Sony to see if they can help. I was wondering if you might know where to track down a circuit diagram for this machine. Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
