vcr vr3260 -

i have a philips vcr serial number VR3260, first it was not powering up, it had a blown rectification diobe, now after i replaced it with another one, it lit butit is not functioning properly, the front led is continously bleeping (on-off)
can somebody suggest a reason why? the tapeis going in, but ejecting cannot be dome i have to pull it outmyself.
