hello every one ,

new member here and also newby in the electronic repair

i have an old sansui vx-a711 amp that accidently sorted a speaker wire
since then gets in protect mode .

after opening it i replaced two shorted output transistors and the two main 10000uf caps (one seemed blown) - now still in protect mode

i noticed that when i disconnect one of the transformer outputs it gets out of protect and i don't know if the transformer is faulty or the protector board
(the output i disconnect is around 45v)

will appriciate any suggestions

thank you all and have a great day!

thanks
. in the manual it says it sould be 46v so i think the transformer is o.k
i guess the problem is in the power supply circuit or the protector circuit, just don't know what to look for.

any idea?

Which transformer?

I should have specified speaker relay pins.

Which two output transistors?

Is there any voltage on the switch contacts of either speaker relay? Each relay should have 2 switch contacts and 2 coil pins.
