UPS MERCURY NO LOAD CUT OFF problem

I am not sure if this fits here.

I have a UPS MERCURY Elite 650Pro, it has a new feature called: "No Load Cut Off", when i use it with my toshiba laptop, it seams not to detect the load and disconnects after a minute, if i plug another equipment, like lamp or something, it works without disconnecting.

Any electronic solution for this?

I guess u need to increase the load for your UPS. That's what i did when i faced this problem. Probably you can keep the lamp plugged in along with the laptop, or some other electronic equipment that when combined with the laptop's electricity requirement will meet the UPS's minimum threshold.
