Pioneer DEH-P960mp Distorted/feedback

The radio just started to sound funny. So we were looking it to it and found that if you remove the sub outputs from the receiver then the distortion and feedback goes away. So if any of you can tell me what is wrong with it that would be great, I think that is it the pick-up ass. but I dont know that much about car audio so there you have it.
