Battery circuit for Siemens ME45

I have got a Siemens ME45 cell phone . i used it for nearly 2 years but now it has got battery problems. I am not able to get a new battery so i opened the plastic case and try replacing the battery cell with a cell of nokia battery. but it didn't worked ..... the phone works fine but not able to recharge the battery- it shows the charging for a moment but next moment it stops charging. The original battery cell was panasonic made.

So anyone can help me out with a solution except buying a new battery for the cell phone.

I want service manual/ diagrams/ solution for the battery/battery replacement for the cell phone.

I'll really apriciate any kind of help.
