Hitachi 50FX48B Shut Down Mode

Hitachi (1998) Model 50FX48B

TV will not power on. It is in Shut Down mode for protection.
The Red LED light (D975) is on as indicated for Protection with an arrow pointing to this light. I suspect a short which may have caused the blue DEG fuse to blow (DEG SDT-55-112DM TV-5 10A 250VAC OJ501 AC-1-10A, 10A/80A 250W, 3A/100A, 10(3) A, 10 A). No continuity through this fuse to other resistors, etc. No burnt or blown resistor indications.

It looks like I will have to remove the circuit board and perhaps get a schematic to diagnose, check continuity and fix. Or find another Hitachi with the same model, to simply replace the whole circuit board, etc.

Any input to identify the problem and related costs would be appreciated. I am just curious and like to dicker around.

Is there any reset button? Power off/on doesn't reset this shut down mode.

I don't think it is cost justified to spend a lot of money to service fix, considering the age, technical obsolescene and compatibility to use with newer technology.
