Joining up manual files

I've downloaded 3 files with .rar extensions - clearly some sort of file splitter has been used to make download size smaller - how do I join them back up? I'm in a Windoze environment. I did look...

OK, I've now discovered WinRAR, downloadable from http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

However, [comment for sysops] if split files are going to be on this site in this format, it would be really useful if there was either a comment in FAQ and/or a link...
