Good afternoon
I was wondering if anyone might me able to help me with a service manual for a ssony BDP s360 as my blu-ray comes up with sys err after it did a update over internet and had a power cut.

Not familiar with your unit but from what I remember with older units, when/if you encountered such a problem, it usually meant that your eprom data had been corrupted. It usually required an eprom replacement and there was no way to revert back.
Perhaps there may be a way for newer units and probably your best bet is to contact sony direct.
....don't be suprised if you are told to buy a new unit. |

Thank you vtech for you input, i really was hoping you wasnt going to say that.
I was wondering even if the eprom has been currupted can you still get into the service mode/ diagnostic if i can get a input on say a component conection ? As i cant get the player to connect to my lcd tv via hdmi.
Or is this part of the problem with eprom ?
If it has to go to the service centre would it just be a flash to revive it and if so does anyone know what the going rate would be roughly?
As if its too much i will just bin it lol.
Any input would be much apresiated
