Renault Clio expression. Radio Error message

Hi

I would really appreciate if someone could help me with setting my radio in my renault clio. I have the code but The message reads Error and whatever I press it just beeps. According to the manual it should ask for CODE then 0000 after which you enter your code.

it's possible that you may have entered the code in wrong 3 times. if this is the case, you may need to let the radio sit, with power on, for an hour or so.
