Our family television is in for repair, but its not a easy process as its been away for 2 weeks.

Problem with the set is as follows. You can turn it on and be watching something when suddenly it goes to standby mode, but you cant get it out of standby mode at all. Then after a day it will tun on ok.

Thing is when you press a button on the remote when its in stand by mode the red LED flashes twice and then five times.

Is this an error code??

Go to the electrician immediatelly, if not you'r tv will be dead.
