I got this TV from my mother-in-law. It works fine except that the channel numbers scroll constantly in the upper righthand corner of the TV. It also turns on and off by itself. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated!

Turn TV ON - Unplug front panel keypad - If erronious behavior stops - bad switch(es) on keyboard. If the remote receiver is NOT mounted on the same board it will still work set.
