| Hi: I have accidently turned on my VChip and can't turn it off. Get big black box in the middle of the screen. I have lost my manual. Can you tell me how to turn it off? Can't get rid of the black block. I would appreciate your help JVC TV. We have no children here, so don't want to use the VChip. Thank you. Jonde44 |

"Black box" in the middle of the screen has nothing to do with V-Chip . Somehow you have activated what is called "Closed Caption".
Should be able to deactivate it thru remote, however ........might get a better answer if you provide a MODEL number rather than a "JVC TV"  |
