Hi all,
I was hoping that someone out there might have a service manual or the service codes for an Akai PT4298HDX widescreen prjection tv. It also can be found as a Samsung HCM4216W. I really need the service setup information.

maybe someone can help me i have a 42" samsung hcm4216w ok heres the problem i installed a new convergence board and it seemed to be working good but then the screen shifted from full screen to half screen and after it did that i heard a snap com from the power board after that the tv shut off and on only enough to hear the sound for a few seconds it does this repeatedly does anyone know what caused this any help would be greatly apreciated
ps: does anyone have the service manual for this tv

The service manuals are available at Lamson Digital Electronics for 10 USD. Both manuals are 10 MB, but it's supposed to be a Samsung model too instead of Akai. Email them for more information or go to their website.
