Hitachi 50ux52b black lines

What is the best starting point to resolve the black lines?

Sorry, Not sure how to post Pict. on this site.

The screen will be perfectly clear at times and then black lines appear again. My kids jumping around causes the screen to bounce then clear up or back to picture with blk lines. Happy to send picture if I knew how. Thank you.[/img]

TV will not turn on. Did the black horizontal lines indicate a particular area on the power supply board?

I'd suspect vertical IC or convergence IC's.

Been in troubleshooting and electrical repair retirement for 10 yrs. -- Could get interesting. Will be a slow process. Thank You!!
