This is taken from the fsp212-3f02.pdf. Warning this is not exactly the same as 3f01 but it seems to match based on my cold measurements. . I put ? where I can not corraborate.
CNS1 PINOUT
1-4 gnd
5-6 +12v? Does not show any voltage if power is off. At least on my deffective TV 
7-9 +5v? This will be on even if your remove the board from tv and connect it separately to the AC
10 5v standby Power on -OFF . Does anybody know how to turn power on with a board removend from the TV? Would a 2.2 Kohm resistr from 5+ will turn on the 12 and 24 Volts supply?
11 to CNS2 pin 9 probably pwm input for inverter
12 to CNS2 pin 10 probably pwm input for inverter
CNS2 PINOUT

Does anybody know what to measure to verify the power supply module needs replacing? I would not want to order a new one for nothing even if i'm pretty sure it is it

I have a N3250W and want to replace the power supply....I know this sounds dumb but how do I get to it?....I see no access panel
I had the same problem as Chris350

Yes.......there are screws on the right but none on the left on my model |

I accidentally posted an new post so here it is again on the correct topic.
I have a 32" Viewsonic with sound but no picture. The power supply is a FSP212-3F01 and the typical output caps were bulging so I replace all of them. 5 volts is fine but when I measure the others, 12 volts is reading 2.8 volts and 24 volts is reading 10 volts. I even tried replacing IC1 (L6598D) but no change. Any ideas what to check next? |

| I did some more work and found the 4.8 volt "on" signal from connector CNS1-pin 12 is zero but when I lift the jumper going to QS3 the 4.8 volts return. I couldn't find QS3 or QS1 shorted but I'm not really sure how that circuit works. |

I got 2 n3250w tv. I fixed the power supply of the one that didnt turn on at all. I replaced the diode and shorted transistor and it works perfectly.
The other one turns on but turns off on its own and cycles randomly like that. I replaced the transistor in case it was faulty.
Then I probed and found I have a a good 5v coming from the ps. And the other 2 pins which get 5volts to turn on the power supply drops when the tv turns off on its own. I lose the 12 volt on the tv when it happens.
My question is : Can I actificially put 5 volts on the 2 turn-on signals ( i believe they are) or does it need something more elaborated to keep the power supply on? |
