how to enter code on Blaupunkt Kingston dj

Hi every body
I got a blaupunkt kingston dj and I don't know how to enter the code since the screen is dark I see no instruction while the red led of code is flashing! is ther anything wrong with the radio itself I mean an electronic breakdown? cause I see on some site that we must wait for an hour before entering the code! can anyone help me please

if led is flashing your set is not on is there acc +,
check for lose soldering on pot meter
