|
|
Hi,
I have a motherboard (Intel 430TX Chipset) that uses dual power supply connector i.e AT/ATX but I prefer using ATX PSU on it. How do I go about using the ATX PSU?
Do I need to configure anything or set any jumper on the motherboard? Somebody help!
Thanks.

There's usually nothing to configure. Just plug in the ATX connector to the appropriate socket and you're good to go. Just make sure that your PSU has enough juice for the mobo's requirements. |

You may need a different powerswitch, or an ATX case, as the AT switches the mains on and off. Replace this with a momentary microswitch wired to the powerswitch connectors on the motherboard. |
