During short power interuptions, all stored recording program and clock timer information, in my Sharp VCR VC-H865, is lost. I would like to identify the component controlling this function and replace it. I cannot recognise any battery or large capacitor that may be the culprit, can someone help, please _________________ You need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape.
If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40.
If it moves and shouldn't, use duct tape. |

Is it possible to attach a photo of the circuit board here? Unplug it and measure everything with your meter, even if the battery is flat shouldn't it still read something? HCSD in Australia have service manuals and they do mailorder, maybe they can help you? |
