Akai Ct-21W9 intermidiate blank screen

Hi All,

I have an Akai CT-21W9 which starts up normally but within a minute the screen goes blank when banged on top it starts for some time and again the same problem repeats, the red LED is illuminated on the front but nothing else happens, I have tested dozens of components but to no avail.After doing so for almost 1 hour Then the TV operates normally. Shall I try changing IC602?

I would great appreciate any help anyone could give me on this one.... Shocked
