No picture, no sound

I have this Sony tv Model KV-32V40, when I plug in to the wall outlet the standby LED is flashing, but If i turn on the power button it has no picture or anything. What could be the problem of my tv?. Any idea? pls. help me.

check the horizontal output transistor beside the plyback. it is big transistor and it is mounted on the heatsink. when you test it with the VOM think that the collector terminal is the base.
