Need schematics & service manual for Harman Kardon AVR 8

Hi,

having problems with my H/K AVR 8500 which first wouldn't come out of standby mode (switched right back to standby on turning on, within 1 second). Then after opening, cleaning, putting back together, it will stay on but sound is very distant and crackling and not responding to the volume at all.

Our repair service is far away meaning postal shipping, but the regular post won't even take packages this weight...

So if I can figure out myself what the problem is with the help of schematics/manual that would perhaps save me loads of trouble, not to mention money,

Would be great if anybody knows where to get it. Ofcourse I'm willing to pay for it, if only I can get it!
