I was hoping someone could explain to me why the color red doesn't show up on a Toshiba 32AF41 tv. Is it the tube or maybe just a part that can be replaced. All the other colors look fine. Please help.

Check the driver transistors in the crt board,in the neck of the tube, the red is bad.

Check your connections. Are you running straight in cable or 489i?

Not sure what you mean by 489i? Know a little bit about electronics but not as much as you. This is for a friend of mine. He doesn't have the internet so I'm relaying everyones input to him. Many thanks for all your help so far though.
