i need help when i turn on my tv it turns and a few seconds later it turns off on its own. What would cause this problem.

I have one with r517 burned now troubleshooting it as we type

If R517 is burnt, it's the high voltage divider.

Have splitter in hand replacing now.... replaced r517.... turning on.... annnnddddd.... wala thanks alot! that did it, usually i wouldnt troubleshoot a splitter if there was component damage on the main pcb. THANKS!!!
