Hi
Can anyone help, please?
I've got a Matsui 9601N video recorder which appears to be malfunctioning and I can't figure it out. It won't let me use the VideoPlus. When I press the VideoPlus nothing happens. And I get no response when I press Menu either. But when I press Timer Rec it responds as if I've set it to record something, although I haven't.
Is it knackered or can I fix it?
Thanks,
Braddie1 :( |

You could try leaving it unplugged for a while to see if it will reset. If it will not accept anymore videoplus numbers it could be the memory is full and you will have to delete some and I can hear you saying "I can't enter the menu to delete". I assume it isn't one of those remotes with a t.v/vcr switch and set to t.v. or a child lock activated. If you are unsure if the remote is working and the vcr does not provide a red flashing light when buttons pushed you could use a radio tuned to the M.W band and pointed near the internal aerial blips will be heard when buttons pushed to prove the menu button is o.k. Just a suggestion. |

Thanks - I'll give that a try! I'm not very technically minded so appreciate the suggestion. Dave
