hi all, i have this unit which will not read discs. the cd does not spin and laser position does not move, it just says no disc on the front display!! has any one got any ideas??

after loading the disc give the disc a quick spin with your finger before display says no disc, if set then works spindle motor is shot, if it doesn't its the laser pickup
