plmstm1060 teac plasma

Hey there, have just purchased the above model plasma for a small price but it has a problem and was wondering if it has completly **** itself or it can be repaired. When turning it on there are colourful speckles that trail off things (particularly when dark background on the screen) over time, maybe 30mins they almost disappear.........? there does not appear to be any missing pixels?
Does anybody know if it can be repaired??
