24-11-2009 | | Before all:
CHECK:
- Power supply noise/ripple
- X-SUS / Z-SUS Malfunctioning
- Bad Connections between panel and buffers
- Bad buffers.
NOTE that in most of circumstances,
problems are coming from a bad supply unit. |
24-11-2009 | | Junk it. |
25-11-2009 | | Just snip the old one and leave enough to solder to sticking out. |
25-11-2009 | | Can you still adjust the red? |
25-11-2009 | | If when you press open does a motor noise come ,if so the belt is either broken or as come of .not familiar with this deck it may not use a belt but gears instead |
25-11-2009 | need all boards | hey man i need all boards how much for all of them |
25-11-2009 | | Although it may not be apparent on the outside, that screen is definitely damaged. Probably either dropped, something hit it on the corner or sat-on?
Even if you could find a screen, it would be way over the cost of a new one. |
25-11-2009 | | Thanks...I knew that the chances of restoring it were slim, but it's nice to have confirmation. I'll probably end up looking for a new player soon. |
25-11-2009 | | Oops, that was me. Thanks again. |

25-11-2009 | | When everyone's speaking broken English I don't know if any information is being properly relayed... :?
Right off the bat, I'll admit I've got no experience repairing plasmas (and this sure looks like a plasma, although I've never been rich enough to |
25-11-2009 | | Also, I think The_AntiRAM is on the very right track here as well. If the "garbage" is moving like old-school static, I highly suspect power supply troubles - look for CAPACITORS as usual! Not sure what X-SUS/Z-SUS is, though (mind elabora |

25-11-2009 | | Yeah it was a little bit too large,
but i bended the "legs" of the capacitor a little bit, and it fitted just fine.
I'll try to make a picture of a capacitor with the bent legs. |
