22-02-2009 | TC14L10M | The RM25 Zener Diode always shorted I measured the voltage across this diode its 68Vdc, the zener is only 55vdc. Can someone tell me what should I check.? |
22-02-2009 | | Location number of zener? |
22-02-2009 | | 3 common issues, one is the I901 with the small sandblock current sense resistor next to it. Two is the convergence amps shorting out. Three is a little blue horizontal retrace cap shorting in front of the horizontal output transistor.
Good luck. |
22-02-2009 | | Does the Power Supply chirp 3X? If so you most likely have a bad IHVT AKA Flyback. If the horizontal output transistor has shorted then it may not chirp 3X, could remove the transistor from the set and see if you get audio, if so new transistor and IHV |
22-02-2009 | 50ux22BA hitachi TV | please help , my tv keeps turning off... I've seen previous posts saying to check e994 and c707 but mine does not have these ..I'm sure it has something similar I just dont know the numbers to change..
Thanks in advance ,

22-02-2009 | | I would take another look at your 'careful troubleshooting' again, seems you were not too careful after all.

22-02-2009 | | I wonder if "Mike" still has this set. After all he posted this three years ago. :) |
22-02-2009 | | Do not have the specific schematic but, if this diode happens to be located in the secondary of a chopper power supply, the most likely culprit is the opto-isolator or something in the feedback line. |
22-02-2009 | lecroy 9450 | Hello again everyone is writing in the forum.
I wanted to ask for help on where to obtain the schematic
from the other LeCroy 9450. If anyone can help it I will be able moto THANKS  |
22-02-2009 | 50ux22BA hitachi TV | Thanks for the reference.
Unfortunately it seems they could not fix the problem. I also do not have the same numbered items but there must be similar components on my circuit board that cause the same results as the e994 and c707 failures. I hope someone |
22-02-2009 | | Fixed!! Thanks for all the help!
