This is actually monitor with Sun logo that came with SPARC workstation. Its FCC ID is AK8GDM500PS and has fixed cable with 13W3 connector (for Sun workstation) instead of standard five BNC inputs. The other input is of course VGA connector.

I had exactly the same symptoms with the same monitor. I did look for the L101, it seemed OK, but I decided to re-solder all contact points with components that had thicker wires, figuring that currents were larger for those.

|06-09-2009||New discovery. When I leave the unit on for more than a half-hour I can press the buttons a few times before it will shut down instead of just once like it was doing when it is first powered on. Would that lead me to caps?- Maybe that memory battery/cap? |
