These sets are notorious for dry joints (bad soldered connections) in the line out put stage area - not saying this is the cause of your problem.

|04-12-2009||That is a surface-mount ferrite bead, and it's quite solderable. There is no polarity. Use as little flux as possible, and remember the 3 second rule...

|04-12-2009||Re: Vizio L32 Power supply||Many capacitors were made with a sub-standard electrolyte. This was not discovered until several years worth of produced components had flooded the market. What actually happens is that the electrolyte degrades and produces small amounts of hydrogen gas. |
