21-04-2008I've checked FD102S and FD101S pico fuses and both are fine. Can confirm they are most definately 3.5Amps still! ;) Onto the Power board now. Will check the one you mentioned.
21-04-2008Now checked all 3 fuses. They are all functioning perfectly. Noticed in the schematic drawing though, STK392-010. I replaced with STK392-040 as they were what were in it. Although I cannot guarantee they have not been attempted replacement before..
21-04-2008My bad. Just checked the forum elsewhere and it shouldnt matter about the IC's being 010 or 040's. It's to do with Wattage or something ;) I can only decifer then, unless you have another theory minnie that I've been sold knackered IC's. Strange how

21-04-2008Ok, replace the IC's from a good vendor. As long as you checked all the 3.3 ohm resistors, Other wise it has to be the DCU>

21-04-2008Normaly, no buzz should be heard from the transformer of a SMPS. The only sound one has to expect is a high-pitched whistle, in case of older SMPS switching frequency is near or within the audible range. However, if you hear a buzz, then the transforme
21-04-2008If both decks have a common motor, make sure that it gets power (usually 9 or 12 VDC) when you press play. Also, check for mechanical faults (broken or slipping rubber belts, jammed/stuck bearings etc).
