03-09-2009LG 42V5I have an LG 42V5 that is frequencyerror in it. The right side of the panels is lot of stripes, and some of the picture is gone, "stripy white" I have similar tv, where i took all panelboards out of, and the board named: LGE PDP 031205 4

03-09-2009http://www.matelectronics.com/ Just jam the wire back in and RTV it if need be. You'll hear arching if it's not in all the way. I use Mat from time to time.

03-09-2009I have checked out the transistors and they are fine. Have not checked out the caps yet. I did notice before the speaker relay clicks the buttons will work without shuting down the unit. Once they click though it is all over.
03-09-2009You can try and clean the contacts on the LVDS cable going from the digital main board to the top tcon board. It could also be a bad/defective tcon or digital main board. Also, the possibility of a bad panel. Also check the power supply board for bulged c

03-09-2009You need to try and enter the service mode. Press CH_DOWN] and [VOL_UP] on the unit and see if it will come on. How many time's is the power light blinking?
