17-11-2008Check CN401. That's the speaker connector. The audio IC I believe is IC401. Check for bad solder.

17-11-2008Service manual DCD-820Hello, did you ever find this service manual? I destroyed my DCD-820 when accidentally inserting a CD-ROM. Looks like either it reprogrammed itself with bogus settings or the cpu died on me. Anyway, I too would like to obtain a copy... Regards,
