| 04-08-2007 | Beko Model 284248WNS Chassis 14.2 Colour problem | Model purchased 30 months ago. Colour on screen completely distorted. Mainly blue in center, surrounded by green halo, then red at top left and right corners.
Problem irrespective of input, i.e. ant, scart1 or scart2.
All other functions seem normal |

| 04-08-2007 | | Inside the picture tube are 3 guns. Red, green, and blue. Your short is internal. You would have to regun the tube to eliminate the short. A replacement picture tube is NLA and the price to regun the tube would out way the repair. That was a $1600 set new |

Unfortunately we had replaced the two STKs first and the TV was still doing the same thing. Then after closer inspection I found the bad resistor. |
