03-06-2008 | | When the fluid is dirty it looks like mountain dew. Instead of clear it's yellowish and brown hunks of crap floating around. |
03-06-2008 | | Hello
The fluid actually has very slight tint of yellow.
I have ordered a 16oz of coolant.
The HV block doesn't have scew in leads.
Instead they go directly into the unit.
The number printed on it is 0321F690541
Thanks |
03-06-2008 | | There should be 1 screw holding the block in. You should be able to scoot the rubber boot up and it should unplug? |
03-06-2008 | | Hi
Here is a picture of the block.

03-06-2008 | | I stand corrected. I forget Phillips equals cheap. Stick with changing the fluid. Also wipe out the inside of the tube also. I use windex and paper towels, |
03-06-2008 | | HI
I guess I will change the coolant.
Also there is no way into the lens of the CRT.
There is only one plug to drain/fill the tube. |
03-06-2008 | | Replace your convergence IC's. |
03-06-2008 | | Hi again
I forgot to mention, there are small droplet of liquid in the CRT. There is no way to get to them.
Thanks |
03-06-2008 | | If you look 4 phillips screws hold the lens on. With the lens off you'll see 4 more hex screws. I use a 3.5 mm socket. You can split the tube. It's been awhile. You pull the top of the tube off, it reveals a gasket and the colored lens. Remove the gasket |

03-06-2008 | | Hi
Sorry for the many questions.
I would like to know if it is possible to remove the entire lens assembly off the CRT gun. The are 4 giant bolts holding the lens assembly, but I wanted to know if I can remove these and have the lens separate for th |

04-06-2008 | | Why would you dig up an old post??? What do you want or what are you selling. Prove me wrong. Unplug the over protect line and if it comes on with out convergence correction it's the convergence IC's. |
04-06-2008 | | Coolant between. You have to remove the len's before you can crack the tube. Remove the 4 3.5 mm screws to crack "open" the tube. |
