06-10-2007The outlet is getting too hot. More than likely it's wired for 10/15 amps and you need 20 amps. The outlet need to be replaced and the cord needs to be replaced/fixed. They sell appliance extension cords that will help dissipate the heat.

06-10-2007I hate to say it but, the best option would be to take it to the dealer. Sounds like it's not calculating the route. I use Delorms and have no problems.
06-10-2007If it's tripping, it's drawing too much current. I'd suspect a bad element, google the model and look for parts.
06-10-2007You could ESR the caps in the power supply, or there are some for sale @ebay UK. These 'freeview' boxes are basically throw aways. Your best bet to getting it fixed would be a dss forum. Look in the FTA section.
